I upgraded to windows 8 and found that there is option to navigate to the my computer screen as older version of windows but there was no link on the desktop and neither could I find option to add that link as any previous version of windows computer. I was able to find how to create my computer icon on the desktop of windows 8 and here is the video.
My computer icon windows 8 is no more hidden 🙂
